Pitter Croatia: Conversion of an Oceanis 40.1 to electric drive successfully carried out
The Oceanis 40.1 from the French shipyard Bénéteau becomes the first sailing yacht with an electric motor at Pitter Yachtcharter.
The electric conversion was carried out by the Pitter Yacht Service Team Pitter Croatia, which, in addition to the charter business, specializes in yacht service, engine and electrical services for charter and owner yachts, in cooperation with the Oceanvolt company, which is renowned for electric drive systems.

The Oceanis 40.1 Electric is moored at the Pitter Yachtcharter base in Marina Kornati, Biograd. The Oceanis 40.1 Electric “Moritz”, built in 2023, has 3 cabins, offers space for 7 people and has 2 toilets/showers. She is equipped with a battened mainsail and a furling genoa, bow thruster, generator, heating, electric toilets, solar panel and much more.
The new Oceanis 40.1 Electric "Moritz", converted by the yacht service team Pitter Croatia, can already be booked since end of August 2023.
